In the current era of popularized 4K/8K video transmission and Gigabit Ethernet, high-speed data links in electronic devices are facing the dual challenges of "signal integrity" and "electrostatic protection." Industry reports indicate that the signal transmission rate of high-speed interfaces (such as HDMI 2.1 and PCIe 4.0) has exceeded 20Gbps, and even a parasitic capacitance of 0.5pF may cause signal distortion. Slkor has specifically launched the SLESD0524P ultra-low capacitance ESD protection array, which, with its DFN2510 package and ultra-low junction capacitance of 0.2pF, provides a "zero-interference" protection solution for multi-line high-speed interfaces.
As a transient voltage suppressor designed for parasitic-sensitive systems, the SLESD0524P achieves precise adaptation to high-frequency scenarios in core performance: the reverse working voltage (VRWM) reaches 5.0V, compatible with mainstream low-voltage high-speed circuits; the minimum reverse breakdown voltage (VBR) is 6.0V, ensuring no interference with signal transmission during normal operation; the forward clamping voltage (VC) is only 10V under 1A pulse and 15V under 4A pulse, which can quickly limit transient overvoltage to a safe range and protect backend sensitive chips. Its most prominent advantage lies in the ultra-low junction capacitance — only 0.2pF (typical value) between I/Os and 0.4pF (typical value) from I/O to ground. Combined with a reverse leakage current (IR) of 1μA, it perfectly solves the industry pain point of "protection vs. signal interference," maintaining integrity even in high-speed differential signal transmission.
In terms of protection capability, the device complies with IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 certification, with contact discharge up to ±20kV and air discharge up to ±25kV. It can withstand a peak pulse current of 4A (8/20μs) with a peak pulse power of 60W, and also complies with IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT) 40A (5/50ns) certification, comprehensively resisting electrostatic and fast transient interference. The adopted DFN2510 package (dimensions 2.45-2.55mm × 0.95-1.05mm × 0.45-0.55mm) supports simultaneous protection of 4 high-speed data lines, saving over 50% space compared to traditional multi-device combination schemes. It supports 260℃/10s lead-free reflow soldering, complies with UL 94V-0 flame retardant and RoHS standards, and is suitable for high-density PCB layouts.
