Slkor has released the SLPESD2CAN series of electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection diodes, which adopt a compact SOT-23 package. Designed specifically for CAN bus communication lines and sensitive circuits in various electronic devices, they can efficiently resist transient interference such as electrostatic discharge (ESD) and electrical fast transients (EFT), ensuring circuit stability and signal integrity in complex electromagnetic environments.

This device is deeply optimized for 24V low-voltage systems, with its core electrical parameters achieving a precise balance between protection and compatibility: the reverse working voltage (V₍RWM₎) reaches 24V, perfectly matching the power supply requirements of CAN bus and other communication lines, and maintaining a high-impedance state under normal conditions without signal interference; the minimum breakdown voltage (V₍BR₎) is ≥26.7V (test current 1mA), providing a safety margin to avoid false triggering caused by voltage fluctuations; it has excellent clamping characteristics, with a clamping voltage of ≤43V at 1A current and ≤52V at 7A, which can quickly suppress overvoltage and protect the safety of backend chips; the reverse leakage current (I₍R₎) is ≤1μA, and its low-power feature significantly extends the battery life of battery-powered devices; the junction capacitance (C₍J₎) is ≤50pF, minimizing transmission loss of high-speed signals and being compatible with various data interfaces such as USB and serial ports.

In terms of protection performance, SLPESD2CAN is certified by authoritative IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD) and IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT) standards: it has an air discharge protection level of ±15kV and contact discharge of ±8kV, easily withstanding daily impacts from human static electricity and equipment friction; it can withstand 40A (5/50ns) electrical fast transient current and 350W (8/20μs) peak pulse power, building an "anti-interference barrier" for power supplies and data links.

The SOT-23 package endows the product with excellent design flexibility: its compact size can be easily integrated into the layout of miniaturized devices with limited space; halogen-free materials meet environmental protection requirements and can withstand high-temperature soldering at 260℃, ensuring the reliability of mass production; 7-inch tape and reel packaging (3000 pieces per reel) is compatible with automated production lines, and the Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL) is 1, reducing storage and application costs.

SLPESD2CAN is widely used in scenarios such as CAN bus communication systems, communication interfaces of consumer electronics (such as mobile phones and laptops), industrial control equipment, and peripheral ports. Especially in CAN bus environments with strict requirements on communication stability, it can accurately resist transient interference and ensure the continuity of data transmission.
