Global Semiconductor Industry Updates

1. The Top 50 Global Electronic Component Distributors for 2025 have been announced, with nine Chinese companies, including WPG, Win Source, Lichuang Jie, Shenzhen Shengyu Electronics Technology Co., Ltd., New Hantek Technology, and Xinseng Technology, making the list.  

2. The Huawei Developer Conference 2025 (HDC 2025) grandly opened, with Zerith-H1 and multiple intelligent solutions presented by Zero Point Robotics, a company with a technical background from Tsinghua University.  

3. On the afternoon of June 22, the 2025 Graduation Ceremony for students from the Department of Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University was held at the Tsinghua University Grand Auditorium. Department Head Wang Yu attended the ceremony and delivered a speech titled "Open Embrace of the Arrival of the AI Era."  

4. Tech giant Apple Inc. is embroiled in a serious legal dispute due to its exaggerated claims regarding the progress of Apple Intelligence, resulting in a class-action lawsuit from shareholders.  

5. Kinghelm (www.kinghelm.com.cn) and Slkor are regularizing and refining their training to empower management practices and micro-innovations. Last week, Slkor’s Sales Director Zhang Junjun hosted a "Sales Experience Sharing" session, while Kinghelm’s Sales Deputy Director Zeng Qingrong held a seminar titled "Sales is All About Mastering Emotional Intelligence."  

6. The 27th Integrated Circuit Manufacturing Annual Conference and Supply Chain Innovation and Development Summit will be held from September 10-12 at the Shenzhen International Exhibition Center, China.

China Semiconductor Industry Updates

1. The Fourth China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo recently concluded in Changsha, Hunan, with a record-breaking contract value of $11.3 billion.  

2. As of June 22, 2025, there have been 957 applications accepted for listing on the Sci-Tech Innovation Board (STAR Market) of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, with 593 of them having registered and become effective.  

3. Zhongyong Technology’s "Integrated Circuit Park Safety Management Industrial Internet Platform" has been selected as one of the "Key Industrial Internet Platforms in Anhui Province for 2025."  

4. Ningbo-based Yongxi Electronics Co., Ltd. has been listed in the "2025 Ningbo Entrepreneurship and Innovation Power List," winning five city-level honors, including "Top 30 Digital Economy Enterprises of Ningbo for 2024."  

5. Leading wafer foundry UMC (United Microelectronics Corporation) is considering acquiring the Hanyu Color Crystal Factory in the South Science Park to promote the development of its advanced packaging technology.  

6. Stada Semiconductor (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. has been established with a registered capital of 50 million yuan.
