Although global economic integration has faced setbacks, an increasing number of companies are still continuously expanding into overseas markets to increase their competitiveness and market share. Against this backdrop, our company, Kinghelm Electronics Co., Ltd. (www.kinghelm.net), established its foreign trade sales team in July 2022. It is a breakthrough from scratch and a new challenge for us.

To learn from international competitors and seek development through competition, Mr. Sang Shiqiang, the General Manager of Kinghelm, decided to enter overseas markets to enhance the company's competitiveness and expand its market share. In this context, the Foreign Trade Department(hereinafter referred to as FTD) of Kinghelm Electronics was born.

When conducting business in the domestic market, Mr.Sang has always emphasized online promotion. Every month, a considerable amount of time and money is spent on online advertising, and soft promotional articles are frequently written and promoted on the company's website. The company's online promotion has been quite effective, and the Kinghelm brand has gained recognition and reputation in the electronic information industry. The customer information obtained through the internet is highly accurate. Thanks to the company's foundation, the initial promotion work of the FTD went very smoothly!

II. Early Establishment

Kinghelm’s FTD started with only two personnel during its establishment. As the department developed, efforts were made to attract new talents. The employees of the FTD are mainly responsible for expanding overseas markets, finding potential clients, and communicating and cooperating with them. The challenges faced by the FTD mainly include a lack of international trade experience, unfamiliarity with target markets, and difficulties in communication with foreign clients. To overcome these difficulties, Mr. Sang actively organized employees to participate in international trade and language training to upgrade their business skills and communication abilities. Mr. Sang also frequently invites friends in the industry who are engaged in foreign trade to share their experiences with the company's employees. At the same time, the company has hired professional international trade consultants and language translators to provide support and assistance to the FTD. The company's FTD advertises and promotes on well-known international platforms such as Lichuang Mall Overseas Version, HQBuy Overseas Version, Digi-Key, Google Search, Alibaba International, and AliExpress. Our FTD employees have also individually registered accounts on international social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. They provide high-quality industry information, corporate culture, and product knowledge daily to contribute to the company's industry influence.

Meanwhile, Sang Shiqiang's brother company, SlkorMicro Semicon Co.,Ltd., also established a FTD. The foreign trade teams of both companies joined forces to work together for common development.

However, the path of development was not without challenges. During the gradual expansion of the FTD's business, it faced many difficulties and challenges. For example, the international market competition became increasingly fierce, and it became a difficult task for the company to stand out among numerous competitors. Additionally, the constant changes in international trade policies and regulations also had an impact on the company's business.

In order to meet these challenges, the FTD strengthened cooperation and communication with domestic enterprises, enhancing the company's overall strength and internationalization level. At the same time, the department actively paid attention to the changes in international trade policies, timely adjusted its strategic direction and business structure to ensure the company's competitiveness in the global market.

Although Kinghelm's FTD has accumulated some customer resources and industry reputation, receiving daily sample orders and small batch orders, the order amounts are not substantial. Following the market dynamics in the domestic market, as a company established for over ten years, we are considered a new brand in the international market. It will take some time for international clients to accept us. As time goes on, our foreign clients experience our comprehensive services, high-quality products, and professional technical support, our customer base will gradually expand.
