Standardized, Scalable Talent Cultivation: SLKOR's Sun Gaofei Shares "One-on-One Mentorship" Expertise

release time:2025-05-14Author source:SlkorBrowse:846

Kinghelm and SLKOR have achieved rapid growth in recent years, thanks in part to their internal "one-on-one mentor-apprentice" model. To refine this approach, Sun Gaofei, Sales Director of SLKOR, conducted a "Standardized Mentorship Training" on May 10, 2025. The session distilled his years of mentorship experience into actionable frameworks, empowering both new and experienced employees to grow together and drive sustainable corporate development.

As a seasoned professional with deep expertise in electronics and sales training, Sun illustrated common mentorship pitfalls through relatable analogies. For example, he warned against "scaring off apprentices by overwhelming them with information", using the fable of "the tiger and the cat" to emphasize the importance of pacing knowledge transfer. He also presented a refined training roadmap developed over years of practice, highlighting key steps to onboard new hires effectively. "New mentors must avoid dumping information all at once," Sun advised. "Instead, adopt a gradual, structured approach to prevent cognitive overload."

For apprentices, Sun stressed proactive learning and collaboration. He urged newcomers to actively seek guidance from senior colleagues and master both sales techniques and product knowledge. Using the metaphor of "dissecting electronics like the human body", he encouraged trainees to deconstruct products, understand their core principles, and transform technical details into actionable insights.

The session received high praise for its practicality. Attendees, including newly appointed mentors and junior sales staff, described it as "rich in actionable takeaways". Zhang Junjun, Director of SLKOR's Sales Division 2, commended Sun's "down-to-earth and accessible" teaching style. He further encouraged trainees to "embrace challenges with confidence" and avoid self-imposed limitations.

In his closing remarks, General Manager Song Shiqiang underscored the importance of continuous learning: "As our team expands, training programs on sales, management, and compliance will become even more critical." He urged all employees to seize these opportunities—newcomers to acquire skills, veterans to broaden their perspectives—and collectively propel SLKOR toward a brighter future in electronics.
