VRWM (Reverse Working Voltage) 12V: Suitable for common 5V/12V power supply systems in vision modules, with a leakage current of just 1μA under normal operation, making power consumption negligible.
VBR min (Breakdown Voltage) 13.3V: When the electrostatic voltage exceeds this threshold, the device conducts within nanoseconds, diverting the current to the ground line.

The SM712 is placed in parallel between the camera data interface (such as MIPI CSI-2) and the ground. When the electrostatic voltage exceeds 13.3V, the device quickly clamps the voltage to 20V. For example, in a logistics sorting robot, the device successfully protected against electrostatic interference generated by metal conveyor belts in the workshop, ensuring an image transmission error rate of less than 10⁻¹².
Enhanced Communication Interface Stability
Vision robots often transmit data via GigE Vision or USB 3.0 interfaces, which are sensitive to electrostatic discharge. The SM712’s low dynamic resistance (typical value 0.8Ω) can rapidly dissipate ESD current, preventing signal reflections.
