Slkor introduces the SLPESD5V0L1BA series electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection diodes. This device adopts a compact SOD-323 package, specifically designed for 5V low-voltage circuits. It can efficiently protect electronic devices from damage caused by electrostatic discharge (ESD), Cable Discharge Events (CDE) and electrical fast transients (EFT), providing stable protection for sensitive circuits in mobile terminals, computer systems and communication equipment. Its applications include cell phone handsets and accessories, microprocessor-based equipment, Personal Digital Assistants (PDA’s), notebooks, desktops and servers, portable instrumentation, networking and telecom devices, serial/parallel ports and peripherals, etc., and it is particularly suitable for consumer electronics and communication devices with high requirements for low-voltage protection and space integration.

The SLPESD5V0L1BA has passed multiple international standard certifications in terms of protection performance: it complies with the IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD) standard, with an air discharge protection level of ±15kV and contact discharge of ±8kV, which can easily cope with transient high-voltage shocks in daily scenarios such as human body static electricity and equipment friction; in the IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT) test, it can withstand 40A (5/50ns) electrical fast transients, with a peak pulse power of 350 watts (8/20μs waveform), building a reliable [敏感词] for sensitive components on power, data and transmission lines.

The electrical characteristics of this diode are optimized for low-voltage devices: the reverse working voltage (V_RWM) is 5.0V, perfectly adapting to low-voltage circuits of consumer electronics such as smartphones and tablets; the minimum reverse breakdown voltage (V_BR) reaches 6.0V (test current 1mA), ensuring it remains in a high-impedance state during normal operation without interfering with circuit signal transmission; the maximum clamping voltage (V_C) at 1A current is only 9.8V, and the maximum clamping voltage at 17A is 18.0V, which can quickly limit overvoltage to a safe range to avoid damage to backend chips. In addition, its maximum reverse leakage current (I_R) is only 10μA, and the low power consumption characteristic extends the battery life of battery-powered devices; the junction capacitance (C_T) is up to 200pF, which has little impact on medium and high-frequency signal transmission, making it suitable for data interface scenarios such as USB and serial ports.

In terms of package design, the SLPESD5V0L1BA adopts the SOD-323 package with a compact size (maximum length 1.4mm, width 1.8mm), which is especially suitable for miniaturized devices with limited circuit board space. The package uses halogen-free materials, meeting environmental protection requirements, with a flame retardant rating of UL 94V-0, and can withstand high-temperature soldering at 260℃ for 10s. The 7-inch tape and reel packaging (3000 pieces per reel) facilitates automated assembly in mass production, and the Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL) is 1, adapting to different storage environments.
