Global Semiconductor Industry updates
1. From October 22 to 24, 2025, global semiconductor elites will gather in Suzhou at the 15th China International Nanotechnology Industry Expo to map out a new blueprint for the industry!
2. Morgan Stanley selected a series of AI “factories” with a power capacity of 100 MW, among which NVIDIA’s GB200 NVL72 “Blackwell” GPU platform achieved a profit margin of 77.6%, with estimated profits of about USD 3.5 billion.
3. Applied Materials reported third-quarter revenue of USD 7.30 billion, up 8% year-on-year; net income was USD 1.779 billion, also up 8% year-on-year.
4. Ceva and ALi Corporation announced a strategic licensing partnership to integrate Ceva’s advanced NeuPro-Nano and NeuPro-M neural processing units (NPUs) into ALi’s next-generation Video Display Subsystem (VDSS) platform.

China Semiconductor Industry updates
1. HKC and Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, with a total project investment expected to exceed RMB 30 billion.
2. Yiteng Semiconductor’s project for manufacturing 20 million sets of optical chip packaging devices per year has officially entered the decoration phase.
3. Ezhou Xinruiyang’s semiconductor laser production project has officially broken ground, with an investment scale of RMB 500 million.
4. Shanghai JunFeng Technology Co., Ltd. plans to acquire 62.23% equity of Liaoning HanJing Semiconductor Materials Co., Ltd. for RMB 1.12 billion in cash, further expanding into the semiconductor core consumables sector.
5. The Shangjie H5 model is positioned as a mid-size pure electric/extended-range SUV, expected to be launched in the fourth quarter of this year with a price range of RMB 180,000–230,000.
6. Chipown Microelectronics achieved operating revenue of RMB 636 million in the first half of 2025, representing a year-on-year growth of 40.32%.
