To strengthen team cohesion and improve cross-departmental collaboration efficiency, Slkor Semiconductor organized all employees to Shenzhen Tiger Gully Ecological Park on July 25, 2026, for a one-day outdoor team-building and expansion event. Though the weather shifted abruptly from clear skies to heavy rain, activities such as field competitions, off-road racing, and group outdoor cooking proceeded in turn. Everyone released stress through collaboration and drew closer through friendly rivalries.

Upon arrival at Tiger Gully Ecological Park at 10 a.m., the expansion coach first led everyone through icebreaker warm-ups, which quickly dissolved departmental and hierarchical boundaries and livened up the atmosphere. The entire group was then divided into five teams for the team-formation session—creating team names, slogans, and signature moves. In just fifteen minutes, distinctive team names and catchy slogans emerged one after another. Eventually, “Space Warriors,” “Hornets,” “Slkor Right-Right-Right,” “Core-Moving Future,” and “Eagles” took turns presenting, with creative moves and poses drawing rounds of applause and laughter.

After the team presentations, the competitive segment officially began. The first challenge was the tower-building game, where each team used ropes to collaboratively lift and stack building blocks into a tall tower. This tested not only hand-eye coordination but also overall cooperation and patience—some members directed, others observed angles, and any slight misstep in rhythm could cause the tower to collapse. In the end, all teams completed the task, drawing cheers from the crowd.

Next came the tug-of-war, with five teams competing in pairs. At the whistle, cheers erupted from the sidelines. Everyone gripped the rope tightly, leaned back, and some even fell onto the grass but refused to let go, gritting their teeth and persevering. Following that was the caterpillar race, where each team sent several members to straddle inflatable caterpillars and race in sync toward the finish line, fully demonstrating trust and tacit understanding among teammates.

After the competitions, roast whole lamb and roast chicken were served—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and fragrant all around. Everyone gathered together to enjoy the meal happily, chatting about work anecdotes and daily life in a relaxed atmosphere. The afternoon was free leisure time—karaoke enthusiasts took turns at the mic, billiards tables saw friendly matches, chess and card rooms offered leisurely games, and the movie room provided a cozy viewing spot. Everyone found their own comfortable state and enjoyed the team-building fun.

The afternoon's off-road buggy ride was the most anticipated activity. Just as everyone donned helmets and sped off on the dirt trails, suddenly strong winds and torrential rain struck. Facing the harsh weather, the team chose to complete the activity regardless. Colleagues who are usually reserved and steady at work were especially thrilled in the rain and wind, as one buggy after another charged into the downpour, weaving through muddy and rugged terrain. On the return trip, everyone was soaked but beaming with smiles—this “unexpected” event became an unforgettable highlight.

In the evening, the final segment—group outdoor cooking—began. Each team collected ingredients and quickly divided tasks: washing and chopping vegetables, cooking and stir-frying, plating and arranging. Colleagues showcased their culinary skills and cooperated seamlessly. Within less than an hour, each table started serving dishes one by one. With the same set of ingredients—chicken, duck, fish, potatoes, green beans, eggs, and cucumbers—each team prepared them differently: some braised, some stir-fried, some added chili peppers, each with its own flavor. Though the presentation was not as refined as restaurant fare, the dishes embodied the sweat and care of the whole group, and everyone sat together, eating with enjoyment.

This trip to Tiger Gully saw everyone writing creative slogans on team flags, giving their all in tug-of-war, and racing side by side through wind and rain. Though the team building lasted only one day, this shared experience and laughter will become the best nourishment for serving our customers.
