SMCJ12CA TVS Transient Voltage Suppression SMC

The Polar Bidirectional TVS Diode is an advanced semiconductor device designed to protect sensitive electronics from transient voltage events in both directions. With a VRWM (Working Peak Reverse Voltage) of 12V, this diode offers robust protection within its specified voltage range. It features a bidirectional VBR (Breakdown Voltage) ranging from 13.3V to 14.7V, ensuring effective clamping of transient voltages to safeguard connected components. The diode exhibits an ultra-low reverse leakage current (Ir) of 1μA, minimizing power consumption and maintaining efficiency. With impressive surge handling capabilities, it can withstand peak pulse currents (Ipp) of 75.4A and transient power dissipation (Ppp) of 1500W for 10/1000μs pulses. The clamping voltage (VC) of 19.9V ensures that downstream electronics are protected against voltage spikes.
