Slkor's Sales Department I has two successful "dark horses" who switched roles: one is Peng Ke, who came from the warehouse and has occasional bursts of performance, and the other is Luo Yanping, the sales champion for March and April and the interviewee here. Both have achieved career breakthroughs through their own efforts as Slkor has grown rapidly. Luo Yanping moved from customer service to sales, and after a long period of accumulation, her performance took off in 2026. In a recent interview, she shared her sales experience and strategies, revealing the growth and perseverance of a sales professional.

In Luo Yanping's view, "grinding it out" is the key to winning double championships; luck is just the icing on the cake. Her sales secrets are simple: deep professional knowledge, customer segmentation and focus, consistent follow-up, and proactive problem-solving. Her previous experience in customer service gave her a deep understanding of customer needs – short-term performance may rely on luck, but to maintain stable results over the long term, only persistent effort and continuous accumulation, winning customer trust with professionalism, are true strengths.

From first contact to closing a deal, Luo Yanping summarized five key steps: understanding real needs, matching professional solutions, addressing core concerns, timely follow-up to lock in the order, and after-sales maintenance for repeat purchases. She says the first step is very important – many salespeople rush to promote products while overlooking the customer's real pain points. She uses an A-B-C customer segmentation method to focus her energy on high-value clients, while saving time with standardized workflows to ensure every interaction creates real value for the customer. This helps maintain strong relationships with key clients while also covering more potential opportunities.

Sales in the semiconductor industry have high professional demands – stock shortages, delivery delays, and demanding customers – Luo Yanping has experienced all of these. Her approach: never over-promise or over-sell just to get an order. When problems arise, she honestly informs the customer, provides multiple alternative solutions, coordinates internal and external resources, and actively follows up throughout the process. She believes that facing problems without avoidance or blame, and actively looking for solutions, is the most basic quality of a salesperson. Being able to do this is the foundation for earning long-term customer trust.

Asked about how she has changed since entering the industry, Luo Yanping said that when she first started, she was afraid of rejection and easily discouraged. Now she is more stable, resilient, and can face rejection calmly, actively solving problems without overthinking. This mental maturity has been honed through real-world experience. The company's support has also given her confidence – stable product supply, brand backing, and team experience all help her do her job with greater assurance. General Manager Song Shiqiang often says, "Only by building a strong brand can we create a better platform for our salespeople, allowing them to focus on fighting on the front lines."

As a senior salesperson in the team, Luo Yanping has gradually taken on the responsibility of mentoring new hires: "Currently, I focus on three areas: process standards, product knowledge, and customer follow-up skills." Her advice for newcomers is fourfold: first, thoroughly learn the industry and product basics; second, keep a calm mindset and don't fear rejection; third, persist in proactive follow-up; and fourth, learn to segment customers and review your work daily. From customer service to sales champion, her growth path proves one thing: there is no shortcut in sales – steady and solid effort is the best shortcut. This also embodies the corporate culture of Kinghelm and Slkor: "Integrity, Diligence, Resilience, and Attention to Detail."
